Understanding the Concept of Pain and the Mechanisms That Result in This Sensation

April 8, 2016 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Hi NeuRIG!

This week’s presentation is the last one in our 2015-2016 NeuRIG talk series:

Title:  Understanding the Concept of Pain and the Mechanisms That Result in This Sensation

SpeakerDr. Paolo Sanzo (School of Kinesiology).

Abstract:  Pain is a common complaint that clinicians must attempt to treat and determine the pain mechanism or pathoanatomical structure involved.  At times it is difficult to determine the source but the categorization of the pain mechanism and the part of the processing system involved may assist with making the appropriate clinical decisions.

Date: Friday, April 8
Time: 4:30 – 5:30 pm
Location: ATAC 1001

To celebrate the success of the NeuRIG talk series, you are invited to come in earlier at 4:15 pm before the presentation commences to partake in sweet festivities of cake and cookies.  Please BYOW (bring your own water).  This celebration and talk are open to everyone.
